Marketing Creative Requests
Marketing Creative Requests (MCR)
The intake board for creative work - submit a ticket, clear BRAT, and track it through to delivery.
Marketing Creative Requests (MCR) is how anyone at WAC asks for creative work to be made: copy, design, photography, video, social, print, renders, etc. You submit a ticket on the MCR Monday board; it’s checked, routed, worked, and approved.
This is requests in - the on-demand, year-round side of the operation. (The planned, per-SKU catalog imagery side is Product Planning (NPI).)
The ticket journey
Section titled “The ticket journey”- Submit a ticket with enough for a creative to start → Submit an MCR ticket (DoR)
- BRAT auto-checks it’s ready → How review works - BRAT
- If something’s missing → If your ticket is held or bounced
- Work happens; the deliverable is signed off → The approval chain
- Project managers / triage can unblock tickets → Project manager status overrides
