Cross-team handoffs
The pipeline only works when handoffs are clean. These are the boundaries where one team’s output becomes another’s input - surfaced here so they’re not buried inside a single team’s page. Each has a definition of done, a destination path, and a notifier: Monday and Iconik notify the team automatically once an item is created or a status changes; no @mention is needed.
| From → To | What’s handed off | Where it lands |
|---|---|---|
| Photography → Design/PPID | Approved photography_versions angles | images/versions/ → PPID prep |
| CG → Design/PPID | Approved renders (incl. the 7-camera catalog stills) | copied to graphix-working.wac/product_images/images/renders |
| CGI → Video | CG assets used in product video | Video’s 01_footage/cgi |
Folder paths are the single source of truth in Folder structures.
Photography → Design/PPID
Section titled “Photography → Design/PPID”- Definition of done: the
photography_versionssubitem isApprovedin Iconik. - Where it lands: approved angles in
images/versions/, ready for PPID export prep.
CG → Design/PPID
Section titled “CG → Design/PPID”- Definition of done: the
renderssubitem isApprovedin Iconik (structural integrity confirmed). For catalog products this is the full 7-camera stills set, rendered1-7from the published lighting file. - Where it lands: the approved/published renders are copied to the
graphix-working.wacfilespace underproduct_images/images/renders. - Before moving: always rename files locally or on
video-working.wacfirst. This must be correct for the catalog-season automations to run and to let the Design team absorb the volume. Full procedure: the 7-camera stills how-to.
CGI → Video
Section titled “CGI → Video”- Definition of done: CG assets are approved and rendered out for use in a product video.
- Where it lands: Video’s
01_footage/cgibranch (see Folder structures).
