How review works - BRAT
Every MCR ticket is read automatically the moment it lands. The reviewer - we call it BRAT - checks whether your request has enough for a creative to start, and returns one of three outcomes:
| Outcome | What it means for you |
|---|---|
| ✅ Sufficient | Your ticket moves straight into the work queue. This is the goal. (Sufficient is the status BRAT sets on Monday.) |
| ⚠️ Needs Attention | Something’s missing or doesn’t add up. The ticket stays on the board; you’ll be asked to fix one thing. |
| ⛔ Rejected | Not enough to work with. The ticket moves off the main board; resubmit with specifics. |
How re-checking works
Section titled “How re-checking works”- BRAT re-checks the board once a day (early morning at 9am).
- After two unsuccessful passes it locks the ticket and stops re-checking it.
- A locked ticket needs a human to either fix + reevaluate, or override - see Project Manager status overrides.
The fastest path to ✅ is a complete brief on submission - see Submit an MCR ticket (DoR).
